The new Maruti Ertiga is a latest mini multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in India (Maruti call it LUV – Life Utility Vehicle) with 7 people seating capacity (2 front + 3 2nd row + 2 3rd row) .Maruti Ertiga Petrol is powered by a powerful K14 series petrol engine . Maruti Ertiga Diesel is also be available and is powered by 1.3 litre DDiS engine .

 

It has three rows of seats like the new Maruti Eeco . Its wheelbase is equal to that of Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo , so it will compete with these . It has unique feature among the all car , the Car Stepney (spare wheel) is kept under the car at the back , near the exhaust pipe (see image below) . The second row seat can slide much the back making more than enough space in the middle .
